The Nadia Humanoid is a hydraulic robot developed at IHMC for research in locomotion and control. It’s designed to mimic human-like movement, making it a key platform for developing humanoid robot behaviors and control algorithms. IHMC is also developing a fully electric version, Alexander, to improve performance and scalability. Their research includes humanoids as avatars and teammates for tasks in urban exploration, space applications, and remote operations.
